Mapping Your Drives

If you want to easily access your NSU informations (e.g., L: drive, I: drive, P: drive) you must now download (one time only at each different computer) 'Map.exe.' If you use a different computer, you will need to download the file to it.

Download Map Dot E X E Download Map Dot E X E

After the initial download, you will need to run the 'Map.exe' program each time that you connect to map your drives.

Successful Logon to Map.exe will result in the mapped drives appearing, automatically, in an Explorer window.
Your Drives Popup

Upon completing your NSU WebVPNPro session at a public location you will want to unmap your drives by using the Map.exe program (which is probably still running when you mapped your drives). Otherwise your personal drives may be compromised.

Downloading and Using Osage

Faculty and staff wishing to remotely access Osage can do so by downloading it at this time.

Download Osage Download Osage

This file is a .zip file (compressed for faster downloading) and will need 'extracting' before using.

Once downloaded, double-click the .zip file and select a desired location (e.g., Desktop).

This program will need to be opened each time you 'connect' to NSU WebVPNPro and wish to access Osage.

Troubleshooting Guide

You MUST:

  • Be off-campus
  • Disable Pop-up Blocker
  • Have administrative privileges on your computer
  • Download and run Map.exe?
    to download, <Click Here>
  • Be the only person logged on to your computer (you will receive a Multiple Users Error Message)

The password is case-sensitive

The password is your NSUnet password (the one you use to logon to NSU computers, WebMail, etc. - it is NOT your PIN)

If your login fails, put 'nt-nsu\' in front of your UserID.
(e.g. if UserID is smith, the login would be
'nt-nsu\smith')
